"Cornertime" is an excellent discipline enhancer. Cornertime gives the girl time to think. Cornertime allows her to examine her behavior and how she might best improve it in the future. Cornertime also allows a girl to calm down after a spanking so that her emotions don't get in the way of contrition. Most novices can do 10 or 15 minute cornertime periods. If she has been in domestic discipline for awhile, its better to extend the time to 25-30 minutes at a minimum. If her behavior has really angered you, consider have her do cornertime *before* her discipline.
